Natural treatments have get very popular in current years. People have stopped looking at the high-priced drugs and lotions to remedy a variety of conditions, and possess going seeking at treatments located closer to home. This is, in element, simply because they are less high-priced, but they are additionally on hands and easily obtained.
Here’s a good article about the beauty benefits of green tea, especially in regards to acne. I’m a huge fan. I infuse green tea in witch hazel that I use in my facial toner. At first I was surprised by how well people with acne responded to it, but now I’ve come to expect my toner to clear up eruptions, I’ve seen it happen so often.

Research shows that a good number of women never leave the house without applying some form of cosmetic. Women use makeup as a tool to boost their confidence and as a way to make themselves feel fashionable and youthful. It’s no surprise that the cosmetic brands’ profits are at a record high.
If you have beautiful, luminous skin, you don’t need makeup. Makeup can be a fun add-on to play with, but you stop having to think about concealing anything with it once your skin is the way you want it. My experience is that concealing doesn’t work too well anyway, and that once you get to a certain age, all that it does is make you look older.
The good news is that it’s easy to have beautiful skin. It just takes simple care with the right products. That’s the place to start. Let the cosmetics take a back seat.

Age spots are places where excess melanin (or pigment) has been delivered to the skin. But while their common name suggests that they’re an unavoidable part of getting older, studies show that they’re more about inflammation than age. In fact, a woman can be well into her 80s and not have a single age spot, because the number one cause of age spots happens to be the most pervasive cause of skin inflammation, and also the easiest to avoid: ultraviolet radiation.
Here is good advice about dealing with age spots. Prevention is always the best approach, of course, and preventing sun damage is key. Dr. Lark points out that age spots are completely avoidable. I have some, I must admit.
It’s always good top see the natural approach to skin care being advocated and I love the tag line of the blog” Be Healthy. Be VIbrant. Be Beautiful.” After all, health, happiness and beauty are a package deal!
Personally, I’d go further by recommending a ianatural exfoliant and an organic cleanser. Check out the blog for more info.

As promised, I am sharing with you reviews of at least one product or brand each week. Trying new products is definitely one of the perks of being a beauty writer and I am happy to fill you in.
Today’s products come from Artisan Naturals. This organic skincare brand is completely free from harmful chemicals and use organic ingredients whenever possible. Artisan Naturals also source ingredients from “small indigenous farms that practice sustainability and wild-crafting but simply cannot afford organic certification”.
Here’s a site to keep up with. Organic Beauty is the way to go, and weekly reviews of products are going to be really helpful for anyone looking for the right products for their skin. Once you find good organic products that work for you, you only need 4 of them to have beautiful, luminous skin – and you only need to spend a minute or two with them twice a day. That’s the power of good organic products! The trick is to find the best ones for your skin. You should see immediate results. This site will give you some pointers about what is likely to work best for you. Why not check it out every week?

YES. The raw materials for natural skin care generally come from fruits, flowers, milk and nuts. The products that are genuinely natural are safe and mild on your skin as they are devoid of harmful chemicals. I would, however, not force you to go for the naturals. The only way you can make out the difference is by using it yourself. Once you get assurance of the effectiveness of them, only then should you be convinced about it.
I agree that the test that counts is what a product does for your skin – not someone else’s skin, and not anyone’s theory about what is good and bad for the skin. I’ve found that natural, organic products work the best. And that, plain and simple, is why I use them. I think the scare stories about synthetic products are mostly hogwash. But then, that’s how I feel about most of the synthetic products, too.

It is the healthiness of the skin, and not its colour, that constitutes real attraction. And it assists to know that attraction might be received through a combination of inner fine healthiness and usual exterior concern. Inner healthiness and exterior concern are though 2 sides of the same coin.
I’ve found my own facial toner really helps people with acne. The rest of my products are designed to rejuvenate dry skin, and most of the people I meet are dealing with dry skin, rather than acne. But in the shops that sell my line, I am able to help the staff who have acne by using my facial toner on them, and then they get such good results, they sell it to any of their customers who come in with their faces broken out. Quite a few people are now using it for acne.
I think everyone should use a toner, not matter what their skin type. The article at the above link gives a good overview of the different types of toners you could use, depending on your skin type, and I love their emphasis on the inner and outer aspects of beauty. Looks like a site to keep up with, I’d say.

Day creams, night cream and serums…ack! The skin care aisle can make your head spin. Not only are there myriad of items we supposedly need to keep our skin in tip-top shape, but there are hundreds of products from a mind-boggling number of companies. Overwhelmed yet?
It wouldn’t be so bad if all this stuff actually worked! But that’s too much to ask. What we get is a barrage of useless products spun towards us with sciency-sounding BS and no substance behind them. I’m a huge fan of simple skin care. If you use the right, high quality products for your skin, all you need is 4 products and a minute or two a day to have luminous skin. The rest is just marketing hoopla.

You should really consider natural skin care oils and emollients when it comes to fighting back the inevitable signs of aging. This is because these compounds can truly do wonders for your skin, without the allergic reactions and other side effects you might see with chemical-based skincare products.
I agree entirely that whole natural oils can make a huge contribution to revitalizing our skin, and that they do a much better job of it than synthetic chemicals. My organic moisturizer is made of just such oils. It’s good to see, in this post, additional oils being promoted. Read about Babbassu OIl, for instance, one oil that I’ve not used myself.

With a few notable exceptions (most of whom work here as beauty editors) most of my friends fancy themselves low-maintenance. They claim that they’re too busy for elaborate makeup routines. They told their wedding-day makeup artist that they wanted a “natural look.” They assure me that they would never consider plastic surgery. But here’s the thing: I think most of them are much higher maintenance than they want to admit to me—or even to themselves.
How much time and how many products do you use on your skin? I can honestly say that I spend about as much time on my skin care as I do on cleaning my teeth. I use four products – but the secret is, they all work. I don’t use serums and fancy-dandy creams for here and there. Just four products is all it takes, if they are any good. I’m a huge fan of simple skin care. Why not give it a try?
