It points out that most witch hazel contains alcohol (usually about 15% by volume) and how important it is to use a product that is alcohol free. I use a lot of alcohol-free witch hazel, infused with other botanicals, in my facial toner. I use lots of organic rose water also, as this complements the witch hazel in cleansing and toning the skin (it also smells way better than witch hazel!)
